Specialty Stamping / Coining

Coining is a stamping process that ART Technologies' considers one of their core competencies. This process is similar to cold forging process and can produce complex shapes held to very tight tolerances. By predicting how the part will change during heat treatment (when required), ART Technologies Engineers can often target the process to minimize or eliminate subsequent turning and or grinding processes and produce the finished product within specified tolerances. ART Technologies has several coining presses; the largest is 800-tons utilized to produce coined bearing components with high tolerance and precision.
